Recently we were asked to lend our expertise to solve a shipping problem for Help Remedies, a manufacturer of personal health products. The company uses minimal packaging and environmentally-friendly containers for their product line of decongestants, pain relievers, sleep aids, and other household drugs.

Help Remedies provides retail outlets with compact displays already filled with individual products. This results in less work for store staff, who don’t have to spend time configuring and setting up the displays. Unfortunately the display items were coming loose during shipping, leading to lost inventory and requiring retail staff to reassemble the contents upon delivery.

Custom Paper Tubes provided Help Remedies with a durable, custom packaging solution to secure the products in place and keep the display intact during transport. We designed a two-ply open ended paper tube with an outer layer of Mylar that is both strong enough and flexible enough to withstand rough shipments. In addition to increasing the paper tube’s strength, the Mylar reinforcement reduces the likelihood of the paper tearing in transit.
