Granola Start-up Company Launches New Products in Eye Catching Containers

The Toasted Oat, a start-up company out of Columbus, OH, came to Custom Paper Tubes looking for a package for gluten-free granolas. The Toasted Oat was just entering the market and had a limited marketing budget, and they needed a container that was inexpensive, unique and eye-catching to stand out among all the other granola companies at local Ohio markets.

Custom Paper Tubes produced a 4” x 6” reusable container with seamed metal bottom and metal plug top with Kraft outer wrap. Since The Toasted Oat’s granolas are individually packaged in re-sealable bags inside of the reusable containers, no inside food grade liner (foil or greaseproof) was needed.

One challenge small volume start-ups face is being able to label their containers efficiently and cost-effectively. Paired with one of our printing partners, Blue Label Digital, Custom Paper Tubes was able to apply custom adhesive sticker labels in 4 different flavors to The Toasted Oat containers. Without a large volume requirement like for typical convoluted labeling, The Toasted Oat containers now stand out among the sea of plastic bagged granolas in the marketplace.
